Holsman & Alter of Chicago was advertising Century movements, originally unique only to Sears, Roebuck & Company, on Page 1 in their catalog in the early 1900’s.  This catalog must have be dated between Fall of 1902 when Sears stopped advertising Century, and 1915 when Holsman & Alter became Alter Jewelry.
