At the time of its purchase, movement #2003756 had serious water damage and a broken center wheel staff. In the process of exploring this damage it was recognized that the pillar plate has a different shape in the area of the winding pinion than other Model 20 movements. In earlier numbered movements the winding pinion was visible through a squared off opening in the pillar plate. The pillar plate on movement #2003756, does not have that squared off opening and the winding pinion is not visible.
