Portions of the photographic image disappeared when cleaned with warm soapy water. The photograph may have been previously repaired with non-permanent materials. The dial surface has severe damage above each dial foot. Ceramic epoxy is now in place to stabilize and patch the dial surface.

The Center Wheel was missing its staff and cannon pinion. Photographs of the damage, and the restoration process are shown below.
