Geo. E. Bemis - Charlemont, Mass. is a private label in Seth Thomas Model 5. George Ezra Bemis (October 23, 1855 – March 11, 1935) was a jeweler in Charlemont, Massachusetts for more than forty-five years until his retirement in 1930 at the age of 75. Mr. Bemis served as Town Clerk of Charlemont for fifteen years and was very active socially in community affairs.
