Sentinel U.S.A. pocket watches were used as a reward for boys and girls who increased the Knoxville Sentinel newspaper’s circulation by soliciting new orders for delivery. Watches were also ordered for the same purpose by the Sentinel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
