Reton Bros. & Co. & Co. - Marinette, Wis. is a private label pocket watch in Seth Thomas 18-size hunting Model 2 with 15 jewels, a nickel finish, a micrometric regulator, and it is not adjusted. The movement is grade 171. The private label is on the dial and on the movement.

John & Neils Reton, born in 1867 and 1868 respectively in Norway, were the Reton Brothers Jewelers located at 437 and 439 Main Street in Stevens Point Wisconsin. The store opened its doors in 1886 and remained open until the death of John Reton in 1936. Nels Reton who had left the business some years died in 1941.

It has not yet been possible to discover a connection between any Reton Bros & Co. firm and a Marinette, Wisconsin location, one hundred fifty miles away from Stevens Point Wisconsin.
