Otto T. C. Colonius - St. Louis, MO. is a private label in Seth Thomas 18-size Model 2.

Otto Theodore C. Colonius, born in March 1860, was a jeweler on North Market Street and later at his Union Jewelry Store on North 15th Street in St. Louis, Missouri from approximately 1882 when the St. Louis City Directory reported his occupation to be such, until approximately 1895 when the City Directory showed his occupation to be a bookkeeper. An 1890 advertisement describes his merchandise as watches, clocks, jewelry, silverware, and spectacles. He was also a special agent for the Standard & Household sewing machines. The 1880 US Census showed his occupation to be a grocery clerk; so that narrows his time as a jeweler and watchmaker to about 13 to 15 years. Otto Colonius died in 1938, at the age of 78.

The stereo-view images below show the Broadway business district, and Forest Park in St. Louis Missouri around the turn of the 20th Century.
