John M. Heaney was a jeweler at 102 Huron Street in Berlin Wisconsin, opening his store in 1872. The 1870 US Census shows that prior to this he was also a jeweler in Saxeville Wisconsin. John M. Heaney was born in December of 1837 in Ireland and came to the United States in 1860. He and his wife, Mary, had two daughters and two sons. John M. Heaney died on March 24,1924 and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery.  The postcard photographs below show Huron Street in Berlin Wisconsin at the time period when John M. Heaney had his jewelry store there.
