Dan’l Pratt’s Son BOSTON is a private label in Seth Thomas Model 1. It is possibly the first private label pocket watch movement manufactured by Seth Thomas.

Daniel F. Pratt, son of Daniel Pratt, jr the prolific clock maker and horologist, ran the family clock store from 1885 until 1916.  He did business under the name “Daniel Pratt’s Son” at 335 Washington Street and later from 53 Franklin Street.  The photographs below were taken near the front of 335 Washington Street looking north in 1906.
